Biography

Jean was born in New Orleans, LA and has always been surrounded by art. She pursued her studies at VCU and Radford College, graduating with a degree in Fine Art. Since then, she has continued her studies with nationally renowed artists and has won several awards. Jean's art has been exhibited in California, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Atlanta, Virginia & North Carolina.

Jean is a master of several artistic trades and has done everything from beaded jewelry to mosaics; wall murals to portraits, but her current passion is plein air landscape painting. She is adept in several mediums including water color, pastels and oil painting. She is a founding member of the group PAINTNC.ORG. Jean is currently a resident of Wake Forest, NC and when not painting landscapes, can be found creating art in her "Pop Up Studio".
